Having enjoyed the limited preview of the new songs from "Come of Age" through the website, I cannot wait to get a copy of this forthcoming CD (expected early 2011). I encourage all fans of James Avery to search him out on iTunes, set up an account (you don't have to buy anything) and leave a review of his first two albums. I am certain that as an Independent Recording Artist, he would appreciate both the feedback and the show of support for his original music projects.

I just received a cd by James titled textures canadiana from my friend in BC. I must tell you it is one of the most enjoyable pieces of musical art I have listened to in a long time. It's melodies and harmonics are fabulous to the listening ear. The vocals are exceptional and soothing with a very rich, meaningful and relational words. I truly wish James Avery every success as a writer and singer as this is the kind of music which sooths the soul. Thank you James for your creativity and wonderful voice.

Love the mixture of the song choices. It makes it easy and interesting to listen to. It's great to hear some of your songs finally produced so we can hear them the way you have always heard them yourself. The background instruments and vocals add to the flare!!

I listened to " Textures Canadiana" and my 2 favorites are: "We all fall down" and "Born again."Track 3 is pretty good too: Love remains...nice Chorus! I love the players on both your CD's. Tracks 1,3,6 9 are my favorites are on your "Legacy" CD. I think that the photos on your second CD are real nice! Keep smiling...you worked hard so be proud in your accomplishment!
